NFL Playoff Bracket FAQ

When are NFL playoff teams available?

Playoff seeding is finalized after Week 18 of the regular season, typically the first week of January. Our bracket will be updated with official seeds within hours.

How does the 14-team playoff format work?

Each conference has 7 teams. The #1 seed gets a bye in Wild Card Weekend. Seeds 2-7 play in the Wild Card round, with the winners advancing to face the top seeds in the Divisional round.

Can I run a Super Bowl squares pool too?

Yes! Check out our sister site FootballSquaresGame.com for free Super Bowl squares.

How does scoring work for predictions?

Choose from progressive scoring (more points for later rounds), simple scoring (1 point per correct pick), or upset bonus scoring. You pick what works for your group.
